inkTALK App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how inkTALK handles information when you use the inkTALK mobile application (“the App”).
inkTALK is a digital editorial library and publishing platform operated by Ekaterina Alenteva under Katenski.ink.
By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
The current version of inkTALK does not require you to create an account or register.
The App does not directly collect:

profile information;

payment information;

precise location;
-
contacts;
-
photos or media from your device;

user-generated content.
inkTALK does not currently use advertising or third-party advertising trackers.
Publication and Network Data
inkTALK connects to online services in order to retrieve and display the publication catalog, publication covers, metadata and publication files.
As with most internet services, limited technical information may be processed automatically when your device communicates with our infrastructure. This may include information such as:

date and time of a request;

requested resource;

general device or network information;

diagnostic or security-related request data.
This technical information is used only as necessary to deliver content, maintain service availability, protect the infrastructure and diagnose technical problems.
How We Use Information
Any technical information processed in connection with the App may be used to:

provide and deliver inkTALK publications;

operate and maintain the App and its supporting services;

maintain security and prevent misuse;

improve service reliability.
We do not use this information to create advertising profiles.
Third-Party Services
inkTALK uses third-party infrastructure providers to operate and deliver its services.
The App currently relies on Cloudflare services for parts of its publication infrastructure, including content delivery and backend services.
Cloudflare may process limited technical information necessary to provide those services in accordance with its own privacy practices.
The App may also interact with Apple services when you use features provided by iOS or the App Store, such as submitting an App Store rating.
External links opened from inkTALK may take you to websites or services that have their own privacy policies. inkTALK is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.
Data Sharing and Sale
inkTALK does not sell personal information.
We do not rent personal information or provide personal information to advertisers.
Limited technical information may be processed by service providers only as necessary to operate and deliver the App and its content.
Data Retention
inkTALK does not currently maintain user accounts or user profiles within the App.
Technical server and security logs, when generated, may be retained for limited operational, security and diagnostic purposes in accordance with the configuration and policies of our infrastructure providers.
Children’s Privacy
inkTALK is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because the current version of the App does not provide user accounts or personal-data submission features, users are not asked to provide personal information through the App.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect the infrastructure used to operate inkTALK.
However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if inkTALK introduces new features, services or data practices.
When we make changes, the updated policy will be posted on this page and the “Last Updated” date will be revised.
